Ten Little Tips to Feel Happier Right Now

1. Smile.

This action of smiling may not find an echo your heart right now
but if you practice regularly it will become automatic!  🙂

2. Breathe slowly and deeply.

Focus your attention in just breathing…let everything else go.


3. Go for a walk by yourself.

Notice what’s happening in your world.


4. Take a moment to count your blessings.

Start counting your blessings today!


5. Say Thank You to those who serve you.

Who do you depend on every day?
Make a list and be sure to include those who grow and deliver your food, keep your electricity and telephone running, provide emergency medical care, and protect the safety of your community and nation.  You’ll be surprised how many people are on this list!

6. Take a moment right now to forgive someone for something they have done whether it’s real or imagined.

Forgiveness has to start somewhere….why not let it start with you?
Forgiveness simply means to give as before…


7. Choose to release resentment and anger.

Resentment and anger hurts you a lot more than it hurts the other person.  If you choose to tell the person you were resentful and thinking angry thoughts about them… remember to make “I” statements instead of “you” statements.


8. Play your favorite happy music and dance a little jig.

Don’t stop ’til you’re tired.
Twirl and whirl by yourself or your favorite dance partner… or join a dance group!  Foot stomping, toe tapping music is the best choice.
Music that makes you want to dance and keep dancing!

9. Take a moment to do an Act of Kindness for someone.

Find someone who has worse troubles than you
and do something extra special for them today.


10. Have a conversation and talk with God.

No one understands like He does!
The more I listen and talk to Him the better I get to know Him.
The more I listen and talk to Him the better HE gets to know me.
